In addition to manufacturing acid distributors, HD-1 high-silicon stainless steel is widely used in the drying and absorption sections of sulfuric acid plants for producing: drying towers, absorption towers, filters, packing support grid plates, circulation tanks, welded pipes, elbows and reducers, flanges and sleeves, anti-eddy current devices etc. The oldest units in the field have been in operation for over a decade, with users reporting normal performance and no noticeable corrosion issues.
