NHD designed and supplied modular equipment for a 100kt/a pilot plant extracting dysprosium and terbium. The project adapted to Australian AS/NZS standards for the first time, worked from a basic design by Worley Parsons, and met a compressed five-month delivery (June to November 2017) with formal client commendation.
Phosphoric Acid
NHD supplied a rotary table vacuum filter for Anglo American's Brazilian subsidiary COPEBRAS, working in partnership with WesTech Engineering. After a 12-month evaluation that began in April 2013, NHD met rigorous international quality-management standards and completed the installation to the client's satisfaction.

Phosphoric Acid
Design and construction of scrubber towers and reverse-stripping towers for purified phosphoric acid (PPA). The solution manages corrosion, separates impurities from high-impurity Yunnan phosphate ores, and reduces energy use while holding acid quality steady, setting a benchmark for wet-process PPA projects.
Flue Gas Desulfurization
To handle corrosion in high-sulfur flue gas, NHD replaced conventional FRP and rubber-lining systems with super-austenitic and Hastelloy materials for 700MW units, improving service life, reliability and corrosion resistance.

NHD supplied a Φ45m thickener for the copper and cobalt smelting operation run by Sicomines SA in the DRC.
Nonferrous Metal Smelting
NHD installed three CCD thickeners (Φ32m, Φ36m and Φ42m). Facing high seismic risk on the Pacific Ring of Fire and pandemic-related delays, NHD used duplex stainless steel in place of carbon steel and rubber-brick designs, preserving structural integrity while accelerating civil construction and helping the client reach its Phase 1 production targets.
