To strengthen the company’s democratic management system, open up channels for employees to voice their concerns, and unite the workforce behind high-quality development, NHD held the First Session of its Fifth Trade Union Congress and the First Session of its First Employee Representative Congress at company headquarters.
The meeting brought together 89 employee representatives from across the company’s production workshops, technical development, administrative management, logistics, and other roles to jointly discuss the company’s development plans and future vision. Among the attendees, 80% were frontline employees and 20% were administrative staff, with women making up 12% — fully safeguarding the right of frontline employees and female staff to be informed and to participate. General Manager Dai Riquan, Union Chairman Zhuang Gaoming, Production Director Kong Lingliang, Deputy Party Branch Secretary Zhu Cunfen, and Office Director Yang Hetong attended the meeting.

The meeting formally opened with the solemn playing of the national anthem, followed by an opening address from General Manager Dai Riquan, who warmly congratulated attendees on the successful convening of the congress and extended his highest respect and sincere gratitude to all staff who have dedicated themselves diligently to their posts over the years. Dai Riquan stated that the Employee Representative Congress serves as an important platform for all NHD employees to jointly discuss development plans and rally momentum for progress, and that this congress marks the company’s democratic management entering a new, standardized and institutionalized stage.

In his address, Dai Riquan reviewed the company’s more than thirty years of development and its substantial achievements. Since taking root in Dainan Town in 1992, Jiangsu Xinhongda Group has held to its founding belief that “progress comes from innovation, and the small can become great,” and has upheld a corporate culture centered on “filial devotion first, integrity as the foundation, and the great path leads far.” The company has grown steadily from an ordinary chemical equipment manufacturing plant into a national-level specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative (“Little Giant”) enterprise and a recognized high-tech enterprise. Alongside reviewing these achievements, Dai Riquan laid out four expectations for the company’s future work: first, the company must remain innovation-driven and build a strong technological moat; second, it must deepen democratic management and build a harmonious corporate family; third, it must focus on strengthening the company through talent and enhance employees’ sense of fulfillment; and fourth, it must promote the spirit of craftsmanship and forge a rigorous work ethic.

The congress reviewed the Proposal on the System of the First Employee Representative Congress of Jiangsu Xinhongda Group. Following a show-of-hands vote by employee representatives, the proposal was unanimously passed, reflecting representatives’ strong endorsement of and enthusiasm for participating in company affairs.
In closing, Union Chairman Zhuang Gaoming emphasized that all employees should actively study and implement the spirit of the Employee Representative Congress system to ensure it is carried out comprehensively, accurately, and effectively. He called on employee representatives in particular to take the lead in upholding the seriousness and authority of the system, and to work together toward the company’s high-quality development and a better life for all employees.
