The NHD Thickener is a new generation of high-efficiency, intelligently controlled equipment developed by our engineering team, incorporating the latest sedimentation technologies from both domestic and international sources. It delivers superior performance in processing efficiency, handling capacity, and solid recovery compared with conventional thickeners. This advanced system is widely used in industries such as metallurgy, mining, chemical processing, and environmental protection for effective solid-liquid separation and slurry concentration.

High-Rate Thickener
NHD High-Rate Thickeners use advanced sedimentation technology and intelligent control to deliver higher efficiency, larger capacity and higher solids recovery. They are widely used in phosphoric acid, metallurgy, alumina, mineral processing, coal preparation, papermaking, wastewater treatment and desulfurization.
Multi-drive systems, heavy-duty rotary bearings and oil-bath lubrication support stable long-term operation under heavy loads, with real-time torque data sent to the control center.
DCS integration enables full-process monitoring and automatic control. Ultrasonic sensors measure slurry level and solids content in real time.
ADV 3D flow field analysis and Fluent simulation help optimize tank flow patterns and customize designs for different operating conditions.
DeepCone Thickener
The NHD series deep cone thickener has been developed and successfully implemented in alumina production for red mud separation and washing systems. This technology significantly increases solid content in red mud, advancing alumina tailings treatment to a new level.
Excellent Performance
- Delivers 15 times the processing capacity of conventional thickeners, with underflow compression performance reaching 10 times that of standard units.
- Features rational structural design that effectively minimizes disruption to flocculated masses during dilution and flocculant feeding.

Automatic Clarifier Rake
NHD Automatic Clarifier Rake is designed to reduce overload, deformation and unplanned shutdowns by monitoring scraper torque and maintaining sedimentation balance.
Real-Time Torque Monitoring
- Continuously measures scraper torque changes to detect abnormal resistance caused by sediment buildup.
Dynamic Process Adjustment
- Helps adjust process parameters in time, keeping sedimentation and discharge in balance and maintaining torque within set limits.
Overload & Equipment Protection
- Triggers alarms or shutdowns when abnormal torque occurs, reducing the risk of motor tripping, rake deformation and equipment damage.
Multi-Point Drive
Multiple drive configurations are available to match different operating conditions and capacity requirements.

Rare Earth Hydrometallurgy Project for Northern Minerals in Australia
NHD designed and supplied modular equipment for a 100kt/a pilot plant extracting dysprosium and terbium. The project adapted to Australian AS/NZS standards for the first time, worked from a basic design by Worley Parsons, and met a compressed five-month delivery (June to November 2017) with formal client commendation.

Indonesia
Nickel and Cobalt Smelting Project for Lygend Mining in Indonesia
NHD installed three CCD thickeners (Φ32m, Φ36m and Φ42m). Facing high seismic risk on the Pacific Ring of Fire and pandemic-related delays, NHD used duplex stainless steel in place of carbon steel and rubber-brick designs, preserving structural integrity while accelerating civil construction and helping the client reach its Phase 1 production targets.
