We have successfully supplied and installed alloy lining systems for a desulfurization absorption tower project in a power plant with 6×700MW units in Shandong Province, China, covering material supply, fabrication, and on-site construction.

Scope of Supply

Premium Corrosion Resistance

The absorption tower lining system adopts high-performance alloys, including Hastelloy C-276 and super austenitic stainless steel 1.4529, providing excellent resistance against corrosion in harsh desulfurization environments.

Customized Spraying System

The slurry spraying system consists of a main manifold and multiple branch pipes, distributing slurry evenly from the circulation pump to nozzles throughout the absorption tower.

Reliable Welding Technology

Advanced welding methods are applied to ensure corrosion resistance and mechanical strength at welding joints. Overlap welding is used between alloy lining plates, while plug welding ensures strong bonding between lining plates and the carbon steel substrate.

Advanced Fabrication Process

Alloy plates are processed by water jet cutting or mechanical shearing to avoid thermal damage, maintaining the original metallographic structure and physical properties of the materials.
